Breathing Meditation for Stress

How I Used Meditation for Stress Relief

My favorite meditation is the breathing meditation and I chose this method because I needed something I could do almost anywhere.

I like breathing meditation because in my opinion it is one of the easiest forms of meditation to pick and learn on your own. It has helped me in numerous ways including reducing my stress which in turn has helped lower my blood pressure.

Also, it has helped me to better handle stressful situations and taught me how to step back and take a “breathing” moment when things get really rough for me.

Natural Breathing Meditation

Stress is something that has always plagued me and I don’t know where I would be without this technique. I went to my local library and checked out the audio book Natural Breathing - Teachings and Exercises for Health and Self-Transformation by Dennis Lewis to get started because I had never attempted any kind of meditation up until this point of my life.

In the beginning I had trouble totally and completely concentrating because I keep so much on my mind. But the more I practiced, the better I got. I really would suggest this method to beginners who just need a meditation to help relieve stress and get a wonderful few minutes of relaxation a day.
