College Stress

When I was a student in college I felt stress was a major part of my life. I was trying to keep up my studies, my sport and my job at the same time. Very often I found myself in a stressful situation trying to meet deadlines.
Some techniques that I used were time management related. The most important change I made? I set up a detailed plan of action. So I knew exactly what to do and when to do it by.
Of course in order to be successful it's important to ask questions and maybe even help from the people around you. So I would sometimes talk about college with my manager at work to get some ideas.
Also I tried to get a lot of rest. Having slept enough would first help me get more work done in a shorter period of time. But also rest seemed to lower the stress automatically. Trying to achieve something when tired or stress seemed impossible for me. And above all the quality of my work was questionable too.
Finally I am a strong believer that stress can be reduced through physical activity. So I would try to go for a jog or for a game of tennis towards the end of my day. This really helped me get all the stress of the day out of my body.
