Full Catastrophe Living

Book Review - Full Catastrophe Living

I just read a book that has the power to regenerate my life with new energy and strength. So obviously I need to share it with you.

The book is called Full Catastrophe Living. It follows the eight-week stress reduction course at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.

The book teaches the art of meditation in simple, and understandable language. It allows us to incorporate mindfulness in our day to day life.

Like many of the stress clinic attendees I faced the problem of feeling sick and exhausted from stress. Even though I understood stress has a negative impact upon our physical health. Actually my life turned into a real mess because of stress.

Then this book served as a panacea to my soul. It rejuvenated my mind and body once again. In fact I found perfect equilibrium of my mind and body.

Before I had practiced Hatha Yoga to lose weight and ease my mind. But I never got the whole meditation peace. Sometimes I just felt too tired to carry forth my yoga practice. But after reading the book I can just sit regardless of the state of my physical health.

I am very glad to have found this new path to re-structure my life which I can easily fit into my daily schedule. Read my review. May it inspire you to take a similar journey to cure the complications from a stressed life.
