How to Meditate John Novak

by Emily T

I own several mediation books and turn to them when my life is particularly stressful. When I need an escape. My favorite is How to Meditate by John Novak.

I like this book so much because it’s a step-by-step guide. When I first bought it I was new to meditation. Reading this book was like having someone there to guide me through the process. It taught me how to relax my mind even in the most troubled of times. And even how to develop a new kind of intuition about life.

There's also a lot on chakras that I found new and interesting. Also the yoga and relaxation techniques really taught me how to be a lot more peaceful.

I would definitely recommend How to Meditate to anyone just starting to meditate. One word or warning though. Be patient. Because it does not always come instantly. But the steps in this book will be your guide. Just be patient and you'll get the hang of it.

My only criticism? The pictures could be better. Overall, though, it is an excellent book with a lot to teach.
