Savasana The Easiest Yoga Posture

Yoga exercises are beneficial to us for all aspects of our daily life. These exercises help us to relax and gain stamina to perform well at all levels, whether it is our work or sports. Just Lying and Savasana – What's The Difference?Some of us might think from the pictures of Savasana that it is just lying down. Actually I would like to point out the difference I have experienced between just lying down and doing this Savasana yoga posture.First thing I noted is when lying down casually. We think that our muscles and mind are fully relaxed actually it is not so. We tend to think about different incidents of our day and ponder over it. We worry about bills fees kids etc. As we do that we can feel the muscles around our fore head tensed sometimes even our jaws clenched without our knowledge. So when lying down to do this yoga I used to let go of the clinging thoughts and relax every bit of muscle from head to toe. Altogether it feels amazing. There is this great feeling like "floating in the air" without heaviness in our hearts or body whatsoever.. |
